Youth Activities
Follow Me
Follow me is our Sunday morning program for kids kindergarten through 5th grade. Each month centers around a Bible verse and theme that helps kids grow in faith through stories, hands-on activities and conversation. Kids start in worship with their families and are then invited out to the Fellowship Center with our group leader to Follow Me for a short, engaging lesson designed just for them. Kids can be picked up in the Fellowship Center following worship. All children are welcome.
Youth
Group
The Youth group consists of students in grades 6-12. They meet once a month on Sunday evenings beginning for an evening of learning, games, laughs, conversations, and fellowship together. They help with activities and mission projects, both around the church and in the community. These activities include: Live Nativity, Homeless Awareness Lock-Out, and simply to do work and raise funds to help those who cannot. They also have a lot of fun together!
Confirmation
Class
Our Confirmation class is a time for youth to explore their faith, ask questions and grow in their understanding of what it means to follow Jesus. While many students begin the program in 9th grade, we welcome any high school student who feels ready to take this step in their faith. Classes meet on Sundays after worship and give youth space to connect their faith to real life, ask questions and grow. Throughout the program, students are invited to actively participate by attending classes, building relationships with mentors, and creating a personal faith statement that reflects their journey. Confirmation Sunday is held in late spring, when youth take an important next step in their faith, including receiving their first communion.
