Bad Girls 
Book Club

The Bad Girls Book Club found its inception in 2009 with Bad Girls of the Bible by Liz Curtis Higgs. Since then, many books and much discussion has incurred Bad Girls meet the second Monday of each month from September through May in the Conference Room at 6:30. All women (and brave men) are invited to attend. 

Blessing 
Box

Our Blessing Box, that sits in front of the church, continues to be used each and every day. Our box is filled each morning with food and household items and is usually empty by the afternoon. Our box has become a community mission. If you would like to help support the Blessing Box, please contact the church office or Belinda Lentz. 

Chancel
Choir

The Chanel Choir practices every Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the choir room. This group is open to anyone that wishes to make a joyful noise!!!

FLOCK

FLOCK, which stands for Free Lunch fOr Christ's Kids, has several well over a thousand lunches over the last five summers to those in need. We get to know many of our guests and find it very gratifying to see the smiles on the children as they come bounding to the table for their lunches and stickers. This ministry is done every Monday morning through the summer months.

Food Pantry

The church helps out at the Food Pantry the fourth Friday of every month. For more information, contact the church office.

Good Will
Committee

St. John's Goodwill Committee is designed to help may individuals and families' special needs as well as community causes. Some of the needs that were blessed in the past include: Church individuals and families, individuals of the community recommended by a church person, Operation Christmas Child, Police safety equipment, American Cancer Society Relay for Life sponsor, Alzheimer's Association, Harbor House, Cancer Bags, Sole Purpose, Blessing Box, Bus trips for various causes, and many others. 

Needles and Hookers

Every Monday afternoon at 2:00 pm. The Needles and Hookers meet in the Lounge to practice their skills. They have made Prayer Shawls, baby blankets, hats, and scarves to share with those who need to feel the warmth of God's love. Yarn, patterns, and fellowship is always available.  

Prayer
Chain

The Prayer Chain prays for various people and causes and has been doing so for over 30 years. If you would like to become part of the Prayer Chain or have prayer for a special person or cause, please call the church office or Margery Burkhart. 

RePurse It 
Program

Purses filled with personal care items and devotions are distributed through out the year to women at the Food Pantry, Harbor House, The Salvation Army, and many other places. If you would like to help, contact the church office or Barb Lengler & Jen Conkle. 

Women's Bible Study

What do fierce women, climbing a mountain, disagreeing, Paul, and light have in common? These are some of the subjects that w discuss in Women's Bible Study. Every Tuesday, a wonderful group on ladies meets at 2:00 pm. in the Conference Room. All age groups are welcome. If interested contact the church office, Pastor Dotty, or just show up on Tuesday afternoons.
